He cares about the details

Todays pebbles.....

the warmth of the sun
blue skies
gentle breezes
my husband cleaned the bathrooms and made dinner! and the dishes!!!
knowing I accomplished all that needed to be done today!
the laughter in the house
the peace that surpasses my understanding
a sweet phone call from Steve's dad..for me! a first!
knowing that I married my best friend!

  1. I love your blog, Holly. "The laughter in the house," says so much. It reminds me today to be thankful for all that I have; and what a blessing it is to have a husband and family who truly help one another out, or as I like to say, "have your back." Martin cleans, but ... not bathrooms! How cool is that? THAT is something to be grateful for :). On a separate note, a friend posted this today and I thought I would pass it on. She said she "stole" it from Calvary Chapel at Port-au-Prince:
"Free-will is just a hole/void that God places in our hearts giving us the freedom to search for satisfaction. Once we come to our senses and realize that nothing the world offers can eternally satisfy, we realize that our search was in vain. God gave us the free-will to turn to Him and drink living water, Jesus Christ, to be eternally satisfied."
    Jackie O'Hagan

  2. Jackie that quote gives me chills! 1) It was exactly the confirmation that I needed about a conversation with a family member who doesn't understand that principle (YET)
and 2) It is pure joy to me to know that you believe this!!!
    God Bless you!
Can't wait to see you in a few weeks!
